Love these plates!

We absolutely LOVE all our Avanchy products. My babe is 6 months and we're doing Baby Led Weaning. We use the infant plates everyday, multiple times a day. It suctions perfectly to our highchair or any table and the compartments are perfect for helping babe develop her pincer grasp. They are easy to clean and I like that the bottom suction piece can come apart from the plate to ensure you can clean every nook and cranny. We've bought plenty of their products and will continue to purchase more!

It sticks to the tray. Spoon is easy for my baby to hold. Fast delivery. Other trays probably do the same for a cheaper price but plastic. Personally I like wooden elements so this is perfect!! Exactly what I was looking for. It's just the cutest!! I wanted to update this post. This tray as cute as it was, it didn't last long. It broke a while back, forgot I even had this review. The wood couldn't sustain that many washes and slowly pieces broke off. I would say I had it for maybe 2 months before I had to toss it. Waste of money!

I am confused as to why this plate doesn't have a higher overall review, and I wish I could give a higher review in order to make up for those whiny customers. From what I can see, there are a bunch of complainers and whiners about a really nice baby product for no good reason. First of all, we've had the Avanchy suction bowl for over a year and use it every day. The suction works great, and even better if you wet the surface a little before sticking it on. The bamboo is high quality, and we even condition it with a bit of olive oil over night to keep the wood looking nice after washing it out.
When I went to look at buying the plate (we were so satisfied with the bowl), I was surprised at the amount of negative reviews (e.g. "plate is too small!"-um.... It's actually a perfectly portion sized plate for my TWO YEAR OLD WHO'S IN THE 90TH PERCENTILE FOR SIZE!, or..."plate doesn't suction well enough!"- um... I have absolutely no problem sticking it down, and actually pulled pretty hard and couldn't get it up without pulling on the release tab) wah! wah! wah!
And on top of the amazing-ness of this plate, the suction portion can be removed when your child outgrows it, and can be used as a nice decorative piece, or as a nut snack plate for a wine and cheese dinner party! You definitely get your money's worth!

The plate is the perfect size for my little one. The spoon is great unlike other spoons that are long and skinny that my little one would shove into his mouth and sometimes cause him to gag. The spoon also has a nice soft end to it that is great for my baby to chew on. I also like the suction on this plate and love that it can be removed and turn into a regular plate when the suction is no longer needed. Overall I think the plate, spoon, and the bowl are great!

We love love love Avanchy! I maybe ended up going a little crazy with their products! I'm now up to 2 plates 3 bowls and around 8-10 spoons. They are so functional for my little guy. He loves chewing the spoon and the plate or bowl stays in place!
The plates and bowls really are beautiful. When my son is done using them for feeding I plan on using them for little snack bowls. Or condiment bowls. Among other things. Really a great product! So glad I found them!
