I use bottled 5 Gallon drinking water from a dispenser and it does not work when electricity goes off so I bought a hand pump so I can use the big bottle of water in case of emergency. It is a good product to have on hand.

Is it cheap? Yes. But it does work, and it works great if you use it delicately. We have used this on multiple camping trips this year, and its been a life saver. We bring multiple 5 gallon jugs with us and use this to easily use the water.
There is no need to push all the way down on the pump, or it seems to not work as well. If you do fast halfway pumps, it actually pumps out water faster then my water dispenser at home.
I took a way a star because it is extremely cheaply made and flimsy. That being said it works great and you can't expect much more from a product at this price. We've used it on about 7 bottles so far and its still working fine, with the exception of the lock that screws around the neck of the bottle, but that doesn't effect the pump at all.

Terrible product. Does not seal to the jug like they claim. Therefore it leaks air and won't plump water efficiently! Will return
