This filter has a clean fresh taste, makes great tasting clear ice cubes in the ice maker and lasts ME for 5 months with heavy use. It's extremely cheap and I couldn't be more pleased. I read another reviewer that said theirs had a "Plastic" taste. This is the third one of this brand that I've purchased and I've never had that problem. They have excellent customer service and offer a full guarantee, so you should contact them if there's ever a problem. The reason mine only lasts about 5 months, is because I have the Ice Maker, constantly make jugs of Iced Tea, Hot Tea and pitchers of Soft Drinks, use the water for Cooking, besides just Drinking it. My area has extremely hard water and while I have a whole house water softener, you still need a refrigerator filter too. Plus, it really improves the taste of the water. This was purchased at full price. I do recommend it for price and performance.

WHAT A DEAL! The price was so cheap I figured how good could these be, but there great and work just as good as the expensive ones. They look the same, filter the same but you get three filler for the price of one at Home Depot. I went to the companies web site and they carry all kinds of filters. Will order again and pass the word around about the great deal these are.
