A great power supply that is very handy for my work. I do component level repair for Macbook and I need a good power supply with accuracy and it does the job and it does not let you go over the system limitation as it will automatically turn off or cut off.
The adjustment takes a while to get used to it and rated 4 starts for one reason is the key beeps are so annoying. My solder station beeps when ready, when solder iron is removed and other alarms/beeps from each device that I have to hear and it does not have the option to turn off the key beep (which is loud) is annoying. Otherwise I would give it a 5 stars.

BEWARE: it appears this item ships with no testing whatsoever. Delivered on-time but with zero volts output and zero current for all settings. Returned and bought a 2nd one with some trepidation.

2nd unit was also delivered on-time, well-packed, and good build quality, well-shielded switching power supply in ventilated metal case. Good user interface (easy to understand without any manual), and thorough but poorly-translated one-page manual. Over-claims on its specs (doesn't meet its ripple specs for 3 amps, but understandable -- still low ripple), but good for steady loads. Not serviceable as a piece of lab equipment -- no schematics, no ability to adjust/recalibrate for drift in the current or voltage specs, no ability to fix it--it's a discard-on-failure unit due only to lack of documentation. Fairly good temperature stability for steady loads over hours (I use it for 10+ hours for steady output of temp-stabilized LED lamps), so I'm happy with it so far.

Works well. I brought this because I really wanted a power supply that allowed entry via a keypad rather than dials. Current is monitored and displayed up to whatever limit you set and works great. I haven't done any ripple tests on it, but it seems to work fine.
