This works well for what I got it for. I am using it on a CNC milling machine, so it gets chips and coolant on it sometimes. I was using a regular keyboard, and chips would get under the keys, it finally bit the dust, so I got this one. For use on this machine, it works well, but typing anything into it requires a firm keystroke, which is why it got 4 stars instead of 5. If you will need to be doing a lot of typing on this keyboard, you will have to adapt your normal keystroking technique to it.

Like the headline says this is very good at being waterproof and works as a good keyboard in an inclimate weather area. We use this keyboard in a bathing area at a pet grooming shop and it stay covered in water and dog hair and continues to work. However, some of the keys are very hard to push and takes quite a push to register. The mousetrap works well.

I have 3 other keyboards bought direct from this company. My use is a harsh salt water environment, offshore, blue water sailing. I cannot take a chance to buy some crap that may fail after getting wet or fail because a key sticks. This company among other things makes rugged keyboards that can withstand direct water, sun, sand, etc. They are a soft silicone to the touch. The keys have a positive click so you know when the letter typed actually was typed. The keyboard has a nice blue LED that can be dimmed. This is an awesome keyboard with a terrific responsive touch pad like you have in your laptop. I highly recommend.
