Works as expected. Compared to other products, it's the lowest price on Amazon. However, HD (think about the store initials) carries a generic brand one for about the same price and it works just as well. This is really convenient for preventing vampire appliances without having to unplug anything. I use this for my rice cooker with an always on keep warm function that I now no longer have to unplug. Awesome.

I have two of these, with my wifi and router plugged into them. It's easy to switch them off when I go to bed-- much easier than unplugging them. I'm very happy with this product-- it's small, has three prongs, and seems to be good quality.

I bought 3 of these, and love them. Wish I'd thought of them sooner. One I use on my fan that has a tricky on/off switch. Now I just turn the fan on at the outlet. The other two I use with strings of tiny lights I use for decorative purposes. Those strings don't have an on/off switch, so I was always having to plug them in and unplug them again. Now, it's easy to turn them on and off.
