I have found that this is a very nice brush. It is comfortable in my hand, and more important, my dog also really likes it. The metal bristles are not sharp and appear to be very soothing on my critter. The black bristles are also nice in smoothing out her hair.

Can I give it 10 stars? If you are looking for a great brush, you've found it! This brush is perfect for my cockalier 5 month old puppy. She feels so soft when I use this on her. The wire side gets everything straightened out and the black bristle side makes everything soft and so smooth. The handle is easy to hold and my puppy loves to chew on it. She hasn't caused it any harm so far. I highly recommend this brush and we tried several. This is by far the best one.

Super nice brush. I went back and forth on what brush to buy my Yorkie, and I'm very glad I chose this brush. The quality is superb. Much better than my old dog brush. Very happy with this purchase.
Best brush for heavy coats..

This is the best pin and bristle brush I have ever used. I have a heavy coated collie, and most brushes become unglued after a while. They also have a small brush area. This is a larger brush, very strong, really gets out the mats; and the soft foam covering on the handle is easy on your hands.
