Small enough for the humidor.
M. J. CivelloJanuary 20, 2018
Small enough to live in the humidor so Boveda packs are no longer taken on faith. If the humidity number dips, I swap out the boveda pack with a freshly charged one, and the spent one goes into a tupperware with a wet paper towel to charge up. That jumps hum to about 75% and when that number dips the gage goes back to the humidor and the pack goes back into a sealed container for next swap.

Thought about dropping a start for accuracy, but it's well within the stated range. Expect to use it as a set point. When the boveda is purportedly keeping things 62%, this one shows 65% and another shows 60%. In other environments you probably don't need exact... just a ballpark and whether it's going up or down or the same. So for the price... as long as it's consistently inaccurate, and I believe it to be from my testing, then you're good to go. Mostly linear offset where it'll read a couple % high or low from 20% to 100%
Crazy Dave's Kitchen - Highly Recommends These !!!!

The best hygrometer out there. I have never had to calibrate them, they are pretty accurate compared to my other calibrated hygometers. I like these as I use them in my dry age fridge. Never has the screen gone out like Thermo pro and Accurite. I used to buy a bunch of Thermo Pro and Accurite because they'd break all the time. Inkbird has yet to fail me. I have 1 on each shelf in my fridge and i highly recommend these for anyone.
Easy and Accurate!

I recently started getting into cigars and finding a good, reasonably priced hygrometer was one of my first priorities (after the humidor, of course). I saw that Inkbird came out with the ITH-10 not too long ago so I decided to try it out. I've been using the Inkbird Itc-308 Digital Temperature Controller Outlet Thermostat, 2-stage, 1100w, w/ Sensor for a couple of years in my keezer and I have been very satisfied with it's operation and accuracy. Inkbird has applied the same ease of operation and accuracy to the ITH-10.

My first test of the ITH-10 was to stick it in my seasoned humidor with the stock analog hygrometer, which was reading a perfect 70% humidity. After 6 hours the ITH-10 was reading 54% humidity. At that point I knew either the analog hygrometer or the ITH-10 was way off. To figure it out I put both the analog hygrometer and the ITH-10 in a ziplock bag with a 60 gram 75% RH Boveda pack. I checked on it 12 and 24 hours later. The pictures speak for themselves. The analog hygrometer read a staggering 88% humidity and the ITH-10 read 76% at both the 12 and 24 hour marks. The 1% difference falls well within the 3% allowance stated on the ITC-10 packaging and documentation. Needless to say, the analog hygrometer is being thrown out and the ITH-10 has earned it's spot as my hygrometer of choice for my humidor and new hobby.

A few other features of the ITH-10 I like include the min and max buttons to see if there's been any wild fluctuations of temperature and/or humidity, the ease of battery changes and the included velcro for attaching it to wherever you plan to stick it.
Don't buy. Bad factory calibration, Erratic readings. Don't waste your money.

Arrived with the temperature setting about 4 degrees off. No big deal, didn't get it for the temp reading anyway. Gauged off of a Boveda the humidity started off totally accurate. This lasted for about a month before the RH reading started to vary inexplicably. If it were just off a specific amount and held there, I could work with that. But no, it seems to climb, and dip erratically. Some changes seem to go along with temperature changes, and others for who knows what reasons... Not worth even it's low price.
VERY inaccurate Relative Humidity (RH) - not even close!

Maybe I got a dud unit. Whether I did or not is irrelevant because there is no way to calibrate it. All that I know is that I received a useless piece of equipment.

Relative humidity readings were, at BEST, 20% off. Most of the time, they were 80% - 100% off (I have NEVER seen a hygrometer reading be something other than a fixed percentage off prior to calibration, so this one is REALLY broken).

I have several calibrated hygrometers to check the accuracy of this one, plus I re-checked the calibration of all of them I used to compare against this one.

I was hoping to get a hygrometer that I wouldn't have to calibrate. This is a massive failure. Unless, of course, what you actually want in a hygrometer is to not have even a ball-park estimation of the actual humidity.

EDIT: After reading more customer reviews, it seems as though a large number of the negative reviews are from people who have the ability to check the accuracy of the hygrometer (like me) and a large number of the good reviews specifically mention that they have no way of verifying the readings. The bottom line is that this unit cannot be trusted for accurate readings. I would absolutely not buy this if you have no way to verify its accuracy. I ended up replacing mine with a unit that can be calibrated, but guess what? When the manufacturer said that it was calibrated at the factory, it actually was!

Here is the one I recommend instead of the Inkbird. It's not useless or untrustworthy.
