One of the few bars with egg whites in them. Very good. Consistency like figs or dates as main ingredient--soft and chewy. Would never know there are egg whites but good for protein and for albumin supplementation.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with these but I don't get excited about eating them. Texture is like an old school protein bar that the paper stuck to. You cannot beat the healthiness or the packed protein from natural sources.

I read quite a lot of reviews before purchasing and funny thing...many of the flavors ppl disliked turned out to be my most favorite. And the flavors they liked the most, were the ones I liked the least lol. My point is, you just gotta try them for yourself. Yes, the texture is a bit odd due to the chewy nature of dates, but that's one thing I love about these: they take a while to eat. You can't really scarf it down, ya know?
And now a word about sugar: yes, there is a lot of sugar in one bar, relativity speaking. But. BUT! If you are like me, sugar from natural sources like dates and dark chocolate doesn't affect you the same as refined sugar that's in soda and candy. Dates are low on the glycemic index numbers. Meaning yes, gram for gram sugar is sugar, but sometimes sugar coming from natural sources (like dates) doesn't give you a hunger spike later. My tummy feels happy and satisfied for a long time.
