We put on 3 coats (the first was diluted) and all coats were dry in 2-3 hours each ( much quicker than expected,aided by large,very powerful fan). The next day it was walked on only when necessary,by feet that were bare or covered by socks only with no bad effects (so,rooms can be used,just not abused). A single gallon covered a large kitchen,a 5' long hallway and a small bathroom. The sheen is not super glossy. If this has lasting power as most testimony claims,it will be my brand for saltillo tiles.

Worked well to seal tiles. I would say it's a "satin" finish.
