Haven't slept on a pillow that was not filled with feathers for decades. This pillow came with high recommendations, so decided to try it. It comes shrink wrapped, and feels like a brick when you open it. You have to unzip it and fluff up the filling, and can leave the pillow full or take some filling out. After the first night of getting used to it, it waa AMAZING. It is the PERFECT pillow for a side sleeper. I would highly recommend.

This is the fourth brand of pillow I've purchased trying to fix my neck and back pain and I'm very happy to report that I'm finally pain free. Item came as advertised-- overstuffed, no odor whatsoever, and really high quality material. The outside and inner covers are very well made with smooth fabric and excellent stitching. The pillow feels cool to sleep on and has a perfect balance of softness and support. I thought it would be a little annoying adjusting the amount of loft, but actually it was super easy to remove a bit of the stuffing to get the exact right size for my comfort. Don't know if this pillow will fix your problems, but it definitely saved me from my endless days of poor sleep and pain.

Pillow came tightly wrapped in heavy plastic, apparently from the factory. After opening, the pillow gradually filled out, as they do. Hawk eyed Wife spotted a small rip in the outer cover, which I really had to search for. Send it Back, Send it Back she said. Okay, went thru the thing with Amazon, not an issue, got my little code thingy to scan (which I have no clue how to do, 'nother story). All is good, but I really want to try the pillow before I order another one. So I put it in a pillow case and sleep with it: I like it. Little softer than I thought it would be, but good. Highly recommended by Wirecutter, and I think my stiff neck likes it too.
Here's my problem. I order another pillow, send this one back, all is good. But. This pillow with the teeny little rip goes right into the trash. Not worth fixing. Now I'm having a guilt trip over a $30 pillow.
Anyway, I like the pillow. The drama is all me.
Change to 4 star. Good pillow, sleeps good for me. Rip schmip.
