Great lightweight sleepsack!
Jojoba J✓ Verified PurchaseDecember 9, 2023
We love this sleepsack. It's been almost a nightly wear since we got it 3 months ago, and it has traveled with us through seasons and climates and has been very versatile the whole time. Also, the llama print is super cute! We got the large when the baby turned 10 months. It was big, but not unsafely so, and it still fits here with plenty of room at 13 months. Our baby is a little chunky with a big noggin though, so there's no fear of it coming off her arms or over her head.

When we got this, we lived in a mountain town that had cold nights. We made it work as a heavier sleepsack by putting her in a warm fuzzy onesie inside the sack. Now, we live in a hot climate, she just wears a diaper inside the sack. We keep our house pretty warm, and she doesn't get overheated inside it.

She started walking not long ago, and while she can stand inside the sack, it's not great for her to walk in it as it's a trip hazard. She can scoot around on her hands and knees pretty well though. The few times she's had it one before bed, we just undo the zipper at the bottom so she can have her feet free and she wears the top like a cape (under supervision, since it's still a trip hazard.) That zipper also makes diaper changes super easy.

We think the quality is great and its stood up to near nightly wear for 3 months no problem. However, after seeing some reviews regarding zipper, I feel it necessary to say we haven't had any zipper issues - our zipper is metal and has held up well. It also has repelled stains pretty well with the usage of shout, and we haven't experienced fading issues. Overall, we love this sleepsack and would buy one again in a heartbeat.
Long term use

The size safely allows older babies as well as young toddlers to use. This is an item my kiddos have each used for up to a near year, each. More bang for your buck which is an anomaly with baby clothing.
Safe and warm

So our little one somehow learned to climb out of crib, and tried to do essentially off herself every night being the silly toddler that she is. A friend suggested the sleep sack to basically "baby proof" herself - and it was a genius idea. The sleep sack gives the toddler some leg wiggle room, but limits enough range motion that the toddler can't just do a full-on split or acrobatics with it on them. At the same time, the sleep sack is made with soft and warm material that our baby is kept warm at night and felt comfortable while sleeping. Overall 10/10 would recommend, just wish that we let her wear this before she learned to jump off the crib.
Not stretchy/flexible

I love the Halo sleep sacks! However, if you are looking for a sack that's comfy and stretchy and roomy for your toddler, this isn't really it"¦my toddler outgrew this one within a month or so. She wakes at night crying saying "too tight!" So we had to stop using it and get a different brand that was extra long for her tall legs and super stretchy and soft. These have served us well when she was smaller, but not now that she is older.
Perfect Light Weight Swaddle

My little was very warm and hated being swaddled. We bought this for her to see if this would be a better fit for her and she slept so amazing. Lightweight and soft. Perfect for summertime covers or if you have a warm natured baby like we do.
