Not very even heat distribution as rice shifts around bunching up too thick in some places and too thin in others. Makes it a small chore to position right and then wind up having to shift it around anyway. Not wide enough too. It would be great with another inch or two of width, but it's probably good for a woman or child or smaller man. But it was cheap, so I guess It's ok for the price, therefore 3 stars.
I'm more used to electric ones, but the darn cord on those ones always gets in the way and pulls things out of position, so that's an advantage of this one - no cord. But then you got to get up after 20 minutes and reheat it, so there's a trade-off.

I got this wrap to replace another one that had a scent to it which I never really cared for. I really appreciate that this wrap does not have any scent. One just needs to heat it up for 2-3 minutes and the heat lingers for awhile. It seems to be made well, so I expect it to last a long time.

This really works. I'm going to look for a bigger one that goes down my back. I think they make them. Heat is for old injuries cold is for newer injuries. Sometimes you will be instructed to use one and then the other. I am a retired Certified Personal Trainer for 20 years.

I rarely write product reviews and only for exceptionally good or otherwise products. This happens to be in the former category and quite simply the best heating pad we have ever used. Electric pads have cords and movement constraints, gel type have leaked often. This natural alternative is really well constructed, easy to use and really durable. Just a great product overall, Highly recommended.
