I do not recommend this vacuum cleaner. We ordered it a little less than a year ago. My wife loved it initially because it cleaned hard surfaces very well. The brush designed for hardwood floors worked great for a few months, but quit doing the spinning action. Another issue was the vacuum coming apart and dropping the lower unit to the floor, or on your toes and feet, when picked up. The handle for picking up the unit is part of the removable canister. The canister does not always lock completely and can become disengaged. This results in the lower unit dropping to the floor. I contacted Bissell and they referred me to their authorized service center in my city. The non-spinning brush was fixed by replacing the serviceable brush unit at my cost. This worked great for a few uses, but did not last long. I was informed by the authorized service center that the unit coming apart was, "a characteristic of the vacuum", and I should take extra precautions to make sure the locking mechanism was secure before pick it up.

This is the best vacuum we have owned. So far it has been great for our new Pergo floors. Suction is awesome and it picks up everything (within reason) in its path. All the attaching points are easy to use and it is light. Only downfall may be that it is a little too light, you have to watch you don't pull the canister part over on its side when changing directions. Very nice design and is easy to dump the canister. Don't know why anyone would pay two to three times for a Dyson or other "high end" vacuum. Bissell has not let me down!

I'm seriously loving this vacuum! I'm a neiltech who was tired of spending my life sweeping and dusting my salon suite. This little compact gem really picks up glitter and acrylic/gel dust in nothing flat! It's actually quite quiet too! The on board tools allow me to vacuum polish racks, blinds, recessed drawer handles, baseboards etc. Easy to empty the canister over a trash bin. Filters are washable/reusable.

Very versatile and easy to drag around the house, light enough to carry up steps. We have a multiple cat household, though, and the suction sometimes get stuck even with frequent cleaning of the dust bin and filters.

Best hardwood floor vacuum this vacuum picks up stuff that our Dyson could not! Came with many attachments and is very light. Makes vacuuming less of a chore and takes a considerable amount of time out of vacuuming the hardwood floors. I use the mini turban on the hardwood floor's and it doesn't leave any scratch marks. With the Dyson I had to use a brush had which was disgusting to clean after I was done vacuuming. This on the other hand is much easier to clean up and the mini turbine is very easy to open to release any long hair that has been wrapped up on the brush head. Emptying the canisters very simple question about none at all drops out push mother bought in to take the top off. it's not very loud so the whole house isn't filled with a screaming Sound of a vacuum. I would recommend this to anyone who has hardwood floors.
