I don't have a US number so going home from abroad was really easy with this SIM card. The only negative is that someone signed up for texts from a few companies so I got a few ad texts intended for someone else. Not a big deal. I had a good experience with this product!
Pretty good SIM card for USA

At first I bought it would be a simple plug and play like other countries. That is not correct. I found the setup instructions a bit unclear and setting up through sms only didn't work at all. However, once I downloaded the ultra app (which I didn't want to do at all), the setup was relatively smooth. Also it was nice to be able to monitor the data usage through the app.
Only twice did the data not work and I simply closed the app and restarted the phone and it worked again.
I was mostly in the countryside so reception was usually not amazing but still acceptable for navigation and messaging.
One note: I had access to WiFi a lot so didn't use even half the data purchases but wanted to have the biggest data just to be safe. It might be better/cheaper to get the 3gb and add more manually once it is out.
I don't know why it is so hard to get a data SIM card in the USA but this is a good option amongst a lot of bad options.
Also I got a local phone number to use for free for phone calls and sms which was very useful
