I'm not sure what this would work well on... Maybe if I had one of those huge cast iron pots like they use in a medieval castle cauldron or in witches brewing camps...? But for my regular stainless steel pots and pans it is almost worthless. the links are way to big to get the grime and particles out and so you have to scrub really hard for it to dislodge the food. If you rub too hard you will scrape your plates and scratch your pans.. I'd rather find something with smaller links and a more practical means of scrubbing. Returning this immediately and time to do an Amazon search for a cleaner for stainless steel which does not rust.

No more rusting scouring pads and no more yucky food particles caught in the net mesh of plastic scrubbers. This is wonderful, practical, and I'm just sad I didn't know about chain mail scrubbers earlier. This is a good-sized sturdy link that I can see will last for years. My pots are easy to clean, and I recommend every cast-iron fan purchase this. Love it.

Simple, effective, and easy to use. Scrubs off anything that sticks to iron, then rinses clean.
Once thing to be careful of... it seems to have an affinity for the drain hole - fish it out of the garbage disposal before turning on the garbage disposal. or you will be sorry. It just slides down to the drain and easily falls through.
I just rinse it and leave it in the dish drain, but it has a handy little ring to hang if you have a hook.

My husband and I use cast iron cookware and mountain pie irons and this product is incredible! Previously, we used sea salt, oil, and paper towels to clean, which seemed to work ok, but was time consuming. This scrubber seemed to take off baked on food particles that we thought had been removed. We love it and and will be purchasing a second one for the camper. Oh, and it also works well on stainless steel.

I cooked breakfast for my grandkids using my fairly new cast iron skillet and after cooking the bacon I noticed it left quite a mess in the skillet, mainly stuck on food. My wife had tried cleaning the skillet several ways, being careful not to ruin the skillet. I saw this product on Amazon and thought it sounded like it might work without ruining my skillet. My wife used the steel scrubber and she was amazed by how easy and effective this was in cleaning and not ruining the skillet.
