Enough padding and protecting for lifting heavy weights, but it's not breathable. Unable to wear my Apple Watch with these gloves because the wrist part covers my watch or pushes the dial on the side. I still use the gloves and I don't wear my Apple Watch. I'll probably look for another pair of gloves in the near future.
