I've had the bed for a little over 2 weeks now. I use a deep/thick, heavy mattress on it (which makes it really tall; I'm 5'9" and my feet dangle at least 4" from the ground when the back of my knees are against the mattress). I'm also about 330lbs. I have acid reflux so I have to sleep in the back corner propped up so with it being so tall, I have to wiggle and bounce my way back against the wall. There has been no bending, squeaking, or any problems. It was easy to assemble, though I wasn't quite clear on which side of the little bead between the wing nut and the bed frame the support arms were supposed to be on. I just went with whichever side didn't bend the arm too much. You can tell by the picture that my cats also approve. Lol

We have a 9" latex queen mattress, and this platform is fantastic. We put the platform inside of a nice bed frame (it fit fine), and since the platform doesn't make contact with the bed frame, the bed frame does not rock or move at all. The height is also excellent for this purpose, since it puts the surface of the bed up as high as a traditional mattress + box spring would place it. There are two things that remind me that the platform is still there:
1. I can see the legs of the platform under the side of the bed (not a big deal to me).
2. The bed makes zero noise. I've never had a bed that makes no noise before this one.

Design Flaw!

I bought this Zinus 18" smartbase in size Twin XL and a year later after using it i can definitely point out that it has a design flaw, and the problem is that the middle legs are only attached to the frame at the top, and this causes them to tilt back and forth and over time they become very loose, so with night sleep movement and body weight they tilt on either direction and produces de platform and mattress to sag in the middle. This could have been easily corrected if they had added a couple stabilizers bars like the front ends legs have. I now have to look for a way to add support to the middle section of the platform so that i can sleep in a flat surface instead of a sagged one.
Doesn't Squeak during "relations" yet getting in and out of bed...

I bought this in July 2016 and the frame doesn't squeak during relations, it squeaks getting in and out of bed... We are going out to buy plastic washers to see if that helps. UPDATE: the corner arms which are held in place by wingnuts just need to be tightened. Easy fix. Total weight sleeping on this frame is ~600lbs. We aren't distrubed by the 32" bed height being 5'10" and 6'4".
I am able to easily move the frame, with the only difficult part being adding the mattress ON the frame. Our 14" memory foam mattress is 100lbs and easily pushes around the light frame (14" Novafoam Costco). I haven't noticed any mattress or frame deformities. Having a heavy mattress really evens out weight distribution on the frame.
We fit 6, 18gal roughneck rubbermaid totes (H 16.5") and stacked 2, 10gal roughneck rubbermaid on top of each other under the frame. They easily slide under but it is close call! I was also able to fit my bike trainer and other misc. items under the frame.
We went out to purchase nice 14" drop bed skirt to hide the totes from plain sight (at BedBath&Beyond). I placed shelf liners on the bed skirt upside to make sure the mattress doesn't slide off the frame. No complaints there.

I was very nervous about ordering this base. The fact that it took longer to open the box than assemble the frame. There is really no assemble required just open and secure together with 3 bolts. The underneath storage was exactly as described. We used a custom reclaimed wood headboard and now have the perfect Christmas surprise for our daughter.
