Extremely upset. Within 2 weeks, for BOTH of the units we purchased, the device started to "click" when it's being used. We don't know what to do and feel like we want to return them. We WANT to like these units, but we absolutely cannot tolerate this clicking!!!!

I am so glad I purchased this. I sit at a desk all day so I am pretty much completely sedentary during work hours. I will use this to keep moving throughout the day and keep my metabolism up. I have a thyroid issue and I've found that I see much better results with shorter more frequent workouts so this is perfect. I'll use this at work and at home I have a recumbent bike. It was very easy to put together and it is whisper quiet. People come into my office and cannot even tell I am using it. Very very sturdy and well constructed. Yes it's a little pricey but it's worth it. Highly recommend!

So unlike almost everyone else in these reviews, I did not buy this for use under my desk. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 29 this past July, and as such, had to undergo chemo and more recently, surgery (but chemo worked! So it was worth all the misery). I unfortunately gained 15 lbs with chemo (steroids and chemotherapy-induced menopause somehow outweigh the nausea, although I am eternally grateful for Zofran), and it also made me anemic, so the fatigue was a lingering side effect. Based on the recommendation of literally every health professional at my cancer center, exercise can actually counteract the fatigue and make me feel better about my recent weight gain. I knew after surgery I would be barred from exercise for awhile, but walking is pretty much always acceptable, and I knew the Cubii would be pretty low impact/not require arm movement. I use it while watching tv and sitting on an exercise ball (in a base, because I didn't survive cancer and cancer treatment just to roll away and break a leg), and it syncs to my Fitbit so I actually get steps counted (versus my arm exercises that trick my Fitbit into thinking I'm active). I love it. I actually wish I'd gotten it earlier in treatment. So while I'm sure it's a great at-work device, it's also great for cancer patients - it's made me feel more like a productive person if I can hit my basic goals (and yes, it does somewhat help with the fatigue).

I received my Cubii Desk Elliptical w/Built In Display Monitor on 12/20/17. When I first ordered it I thought that I didn't need to spend the extra $100 for the Built In Display Monitor, but I was mistaken.

Having always been an exerciser I knew that I needed more, a lot more activity, especially as I'm getting older. I'm retired, age 63. It's been hard the past several years, caring for my dad until he passed away, 2 moves, feet/achilles trouble, eye trouble, and on and on. One new problem after another keeps cropping up and hinders me from being active and I'm sitting way too much. I look at other people and as they are aging, their walking, etc. is getting slower, can't get the weight off, etc. I was able to get 10 lbs. off prior to getting the Cubii, but stalled out for 6 weeks. That's despite strictly following a non-sugar eating plan, etc.

I have a lot of work to do at my desk (not social media). My husband put the Cubii together very quickly and put it under my desk. That was the evening of 12/20/17.

I love, love, love the Cubii. The app is cool, easy to use. I don't care about the Calories burned or the Minutes. But the Strides and Miles I like. Love the woman on the bike and how she stops and puts her foot down when I stop. I love the Progress and Dashboard, don't care about the others. That being said, the whole app is great and there are challenges, groups, etc. that you can be a part of. I've decide that I want to create my own trip.

Almost from the beginning, my weight moved down on the scale. I'm officially down 5 lbs as of this morning. I'm on my feet a whole lot more every day and my legs feel a lot better. I want to get up and do things, which I now do a lot during the day. Even in the evening, if I'm watching tv, I'm getting up every 20-30 minutes, doing things. If I read I do it at my desk with my legs moving. As I'm writing this I'm going a steady 110-120 strides per minute. It's smooth and my upper body moves just a little. During the day I do short sprints increasing the strides up to 200 strides per minute for short stretches.

I've told a couple friends about it, will tell more when they observe changes in me, not me telling them. Also, I view it this way. $350 is $1.00/day for 1-year. Isn't my health worth that? We have enough trouble as we get older. I hope this gives me somewhat of an edge. Ok, I'm at 15,150 strides and 6.1 miles.

Bought a cubii, within two weeks it became incredibly loud.
Got a replacement from cubii support, it arrived and was even louder than the original defective cubii unit.
Very displeased.
Currently in the process of contacting cubii to obtain a 2nd replacement.
