Works well, except from the design, it doesn't allow to slice straight slices without having to pick the cheese block up to complete the slice..otherwise it has a curve on the end.

It hasn't been that long but we are still using the first wire. Seems like it would be hard to break a wire. This little cutter feels very sturdy and since I like thinner slices I adjusted it to make that easier. Adjustment was easy and hasn't moved.
