Fantastic product for family camping, car camping, etc. Needs a switch

These put out a good deal of light for a tiny product. We strung them up in a six person tent and it lighted the interior of the tent enough to see into every corner. More than enough to read by, easily enough to find your clothes and change by (although beware of that tired but accurate Hollywood cliche: lights in tents make for silhouettes on tent walls).
The one drawback--and it's a big one--is that this doesn't have a switch. To turn the lights on and off, the user must unplug them from the USB battery (not included). It's not very hard to plug in a USB drive, but it IS very hard to find a USB battery in the dark, cursing about how you wish you had a little light so you could turn on your light. Every removal and insertion is also going to cause a tiny little bit of damage to your batter and the light which really adds up over time.

This is a great light! It has three sliding magnets on it, so I can stick it to the side of my camper bus on the inside or outside. You can power it with a rechargeable battery pack used for phones, or an usb power supply. Very handy!

pleasant light for settling down-not too bright unless looking into the bright side directly...bright side? yes, the light is not remotely even-it is rather a flat webbing with the LEDs on one side-nice for wearing turned out while bicycle commuting, but an unpleasant surprise as I bought primarily for hanging from tent roof center to have an even light.

The light is soft, but bright which I love. The magnets and loops are perfect! I can attach this to pretty much anything, and have light everywhere that I need it. I have used it for an event that didn't' offer vendors lighting, so I attached my Luminoodle to my pop up to allow my customers to better see my product.
I use the lantern feature to get around inside and outside my house at night when I don't want to wake anyone and don't want to scare anyone with a flashlight beam. My usb power bank is pretty big, and it fits in the bag with the Luminoodle perfectly.
I also used it for camping. It is perfect light on the popup over the table while we eat dinner because it doesn't give off heat to attract bugs. And then in the tent to have a nice light to read by before bed.
My favorite use so far was when I wrapped it around my German Shepherd and tucked a small power bank into his collar and we went for a nice night walk along the beach while we were camping. It made the trail very easy to see, my dog easy to see and allowed him to chase a ball when I threw it a little in front of him, which made him so happy.
My only regret is that I bought the five foot and not the larger one. I will be buying more, for myself and for gifts.

Absolutely amazing. Puts out a great amount of light and the build quality is superb. I hung it between a tree and basketball hoop to light up my cooking area. I was not afraid to leave it out overnight and letting it get a little wet with morning dew, but I did bring the battery pack in my tent. The magnets are very strong and so are the orange loops to hold it up. The bag is excellent quality as well, don't see myself having to replace it. For $30 I felt like it was a steal. Definitely recommend picking up a couple of these.
