I purchased these at the same time as Bandelettes Elastic Anti-Chafing Thigh Bands - Prevent Thigh Chafing - Beige Onyx, Size D because I have never tried any type of "thigh saver" before and I didn't know what to expect. As I clicked to place these in my shopping cart, this is what I was worried about and what I have discovered:
1. Would they slip/roll/fit appropriately?
I have not had a problem with slipping or rolling! I'm actually amazed by this because they are not too tight to cause any bulging, but they still stay up! Even when sitting and standing repeatedly! I did make sure to use the sizing chart that the sell supplied. Make sure you do this for the right fit!! As other reviewers mentioned, these are not shapewear! This is great because they are lightweight and comfy, but if you have a little tummy pooch like me, these will do nothing for it.
2. Are they noisy?
Not at all!
3. Would people be able to tell that I was wearing them?
I am relatively short at about 5'2" so these came down about a few inches above my knee when stretched down all the way. Of course how long they are on you can be adjusted depending on how you wear them which is nice. I was wearing a knee length dress and no one could tell I was wearing anything underneath :) I could only tell I was wearing them myself when I would sit down (depending on where I placed the waistband). If I had the waist band in the middle of my stomach pooch, it would annoy me, but above or below was fine (I'm so embarrassed to admit that!).

These are definitely deserving of a five star review! They are easy to slip on, SO SOFT, comfy, and the comfort of being able to wear a skirt with no chafing for the first time is HEAVEN!!

I've always loved dresses, but i'm very uncomfortable wearing them, especially during the humid summers down here in the South. Between the thigh sweat, the chub rub, and the constant paranoia that my undies are out for the world to see, I haven't worn any dresses that weren't floor length or didn't include a pair of tights for the whole five years I spent in college.

Recently I got my first big-girl office job, which means nice clothes, which means dresses (if you're both petite AND fat like me, well-fitting dress pants are a nightmare to find). I found this product while looking for slips to wear under my dresses. I'm so glad I did!

This thing has opened a new world of possibilities for me. No more worrying about my old-lady slips bunching up in weird places. No more awkwardly trying to tug down the back of my skirt in public. No more thick black athletic shorts ruining the illusion of being effortlessly high-femme. No More embarrassing thigh/butt sweat leaving imprints on my seat. Best of all, NO painful, annoying chub rub!! I love this thing. As soon as I get my new paycheck, I'm buying like, four more.

Pros: All of the above. Plus it's very comfy"”not itchy or hot at all. If it wasn't for the fact that I can stand up from a leather seat without sticking to it for the first time in my adult life, I would honestly forget I'm wearing it. On me it hits about mid thigh and comes up to my waist, but I haven't had any issues with the shorts riding up or the waist rolling down. It feels like I'm wearing old, soft yoga pants. Also it's cheap as hell.

Cons: it's very plain and not cute"”the color reminds of the pantyhose socks you find in a shoe store, or old lady shape wear. It would be nice to have some more color options, or at least some range in nude tones. It's also translucent, so don't wear black undies with your white dress and expect this to make that okay. If you're looking for something that'll suck you in and make you two sizes smaller, this ain't it. It has very mild compressive properties. It does, however, do a good job at smoothing out panty lines and general lumps and curves, and I feel significantly less insecure about my FUPA's appearance when I'm wearing it. Because it was, as mentioned earlier, cheap as hell, I'm not expecting to get ten years of wear out of it. I'm planning on buying several more pairs, wearing them until they fall apart, and celebrating my new life as a fat girl who can finally wear a freakin' dress to work.

I was looking for something very light weight to wear under dresses in the summer. I am 5'3" tall and these hit just below mid thigh which is great for knee length dresses as well as longer dresses. Though they can be adjusted to be a little longer or shorter without feeling pulled or bunched up. They fit nice and snug, but not restricting, when you first put them on. I followed the size guide they listed. I probably could have gone down a size but these did not feel too big at all. Throughout the day, they loosen up and roll right up your leg. In the future I will look for slip shorts that have silicone along the bottom edge as the rolling does become irritating as the day goes on. If you have a job that requires you to sit all day with very little walking, these will probably work just fine. I put these in garment bags and throw them into the washer and have had no issues with pilling, runs or tears. I line dry them.
Pros:
Comfortable light weight material that washes well in a garment bag.
Fit as expected - follow their size guide
Good product to price ratio

Cons:
Doesn't stay in place all day - legs roll up

I bought these to wear under dresses. I'm a teacher and during nicer warm weather I pretty much live in dresses so I wanted shorts to wear underneath Themis my thighs don't chafe.

I'm 5"5 155lbs. I am curvy and I have thick thighs. So for me, these tended to roll up after an hour or so of wearing them. They would actually roll up all the way to the top of my thighs LOL. A bit uncomfortable when that would happen. I really wanted to love these though.

So these are a no for me but they may work for you! So I'm giving it 4 stars because I think these will really work well for others. I did like the material a lot. Super light and soft and easy to wash. I'd let these air dry (no dryer). Just wish they didn't roll up on me, ugh!

Side Note: I may consider trying a size or two bigger just to see if they won't roll up. These are super form fitting so I don't think a larger size will make much of a difference around the waist area. Just my thoughts. I will update my review if I decide to try larger size.

These are so soft and not too tight. The hems don't roll and even work great for making sure dresses lay nicely on the back.
