No longer recommended! Formerly I thought these filters were a great deal over $50 GE filters. Ordered 3 more and not only did they block the flow but one blew out with tremendous force flooding the fridge and the explosion scared the heck out of me.

Beware of these filters. I made the switch to these because the GEs are so expensive. I followed their instructions on running the filter for 10 minutes to flush it out. Its been two weeks and If i look closely at the filtered water i see what appears to be tiny films of plastic. I flushed it fee more times since.
