When my husband had spine surgery on his lower back the doctor's office ordered a brace. It was uncomfortable and painful to wear. So I looked on Amazon and found BraceUP! It is a blessing! If you have low back pain related to pulling muscles, get this now! It is incredible. I wish I had gotten this 10 years ago. I have another one I bought at the same time, the Mueller 255, and this one is far better in using while working. However I can see where the Mueller might be ok for wearing after an injury around the house so you don't continue injuring yourself as you try to heal. Three hours of yard work used to kill my back to the point it was very painful. This takes 100% of that work pain away. I think that what it does is supports your low back muscles in a way that allows them to work properly without over stretching them. You can feel it protecting your muscles and actually giving you more energy while you are working. Seriously you have to try it to see the difference. Your search should stop here.

Never thought a wrap around belt would improve mobility like it did. This belt allowed me to go to work and be functional enough to get through a very bad lumbar spasm and bulging disc. I am a huge skeptic when it comes to these kind of things. A Dr. friend of mine told me about them and to get one so I looked on Amazon and this one had high marks and at a affordable price and it is quite amazing what it did for my back until I improved on my own. I recommend it highly for anyone with low back problems!

It's working for me. I had a back issue and I wear this over my pjs and robe when I first get up in the morning. After feeding the cats, straining the litter, and getting lunch ready(all while wearing the brace), I am ready for my morning ablutions and stretching exercises. Then, I no longer need the brace and I'm ready to go to the office.

I gotta admit, it's a lot more comfortable than Home Depot's cordova support belt. (That thing was hell) this belt is much more flexible, which allows for more movement and doesn't suffocate you once you put it on. The downside is, it's comfortable for only a few hours. After that it feels like the devil is grabbing you by it's heated arms creating blisters around the edges of your hip with its death claws. Yeah, it did gave me blisters at the end of my shift lifting boxes over 50lb the whole shift. But at the end of the day it's just a question that if I only want blisters or a long term back pain which would prevent me from working and doing things I love.
