Wanted a smaller-size kettle and the stainless interior was appealing. I should have returned it when the indicator light stopped working, about a week after using it. The kettle, not the base, is currently in some kind of electronics melt-down mode, creating a nasty smell and, I assume, a fire hazard.
I purchased this on March 6th, so it has been used less than 120 times. Don't buy this product.

Great kettle! It's stainless steal inside, and you don't need to worry about the potential toxic stuff of plastics. It feels light but is very well made - nothing flimsy.
