This is a great little lamp. I'm hoping to purchase a few more for around my house. It's a touch lamp and it has three different settings. It's great for flipping on a light when your hands are full. You don't have to worry about fumbling for a cord in the dark. It's bright, but not too bright and it looks great on the dresser.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this, and many of the negative reviews mentioned how there is a constant light that emits from the unit when it is fully off. I considered not purchasing the unit as I'm the type of person who needs a pitch black room to sleep.

I purchased the unit anyway, and I do not regret it. I immediately noticed the light that stays on when the unit is off, and I decided that I could fix that. WARNING: I do not recommend that you do this as it may void your warranty. I felt around the bottom and found four screw holes in the rubber pad. I peeled back the pad in those spots and unscrewed the phillips screws. The offending LEDs are to the right of the ribbon cable. I covered them up with electrical tape, which was enough to stop any light from coming out of them.

I also noticed that some of the negative reviews mention that the power cable comes out of what appears to be the side of the unit. I have an even easier solution for this, just turn your lamp so the power cable is at the back lol.

Feature request: give the lamp memory so that it can remember the color you left it on when you shut it off/turn it on. I'd also like to know what the void in the bottom of the lamp is for. It seems as though it could be used to store a battery pack or some extra "smart" electronics to control it through a cell phone.

Overall, the product was nice. It switches between several very attractive, vibrant colors. However, sometimes the touch sensor is unresponsive. It is not a major issue, but definitely not ideal for a reading lamp or a lamp you'll use on a daily basis. This lamp is solely for display purposes only.

I did previously receive a faulty product, but I did eventually speak with AUKEY customer service after they reached out to me. I received a brand new lamp that worked much better, as it was advertised at no additional cost. So I thank AUKEY costumer support for their great, responsive service. I felt it was only fair to revise my review.

I broke my last lamp by yanking it off the table by accident trying to find the switch to turn it on, so this one is a great replacement. The touch base is very sensitive so you can just barely brush it and it'll turn on. The color is nice, not too bright or dull, or too white or yellow, so when you turn it on it doesn't blind you. The size is great - the circumference is smaller than my last lamp so it even takes up less space which is great, and the plug is completely separate so I feel like even if I knock this one over too it won't be a complete disaster because it can detach from the cord and maybe I can catch it instead of fumbling the whole thing to the floor. Would definitely recommend, it's a great little lamp.

I love all the colors this fades to, and on it's dimmest setting it's perfect for a nightlight that won't keep my husband up while I stay up for awhile. The reason for 4 stars is when it's off, there's a faint blue light at the base of the white lamp area, and I'm very sensitive to light when I sleep, and it bothers me enough that I unplug this lamp every night instead of shutting it off. It's easy to unplug/replug so not a huge deal, but it would be nice to not have to do that.
