Great fix for fading wood kitchen products

I bought this mineral oil in hopes to bring life back to the crate and barrel utensils that we had in the kitchen. They were fading pretty fast and ended up purchasing this over the Boos oil alternative. I ended up applying a few coats to the utensils and it worked great! The wood definitely looks a lot better with this oil. However, one thing to note is that they very quickly seem to fade. I'm not sure if that's just how it sort of goes, or if it's the oil. I noticed that the packaging said to do up to 3 - 4 times for a product's first time, but it didn't seem to make a huge difference.
I also ended up applying this to our large Ikea cutting board which made it look a lot better. The cutting board seems to not fade as quickly. I gather than the utensils get used in pasta water and various other food products which probably attributes to the fading.
A bit of a pain finding space for it to dry overnight that isn't laying against anything, but it works!

I have a set of knives which have not had care for the wooden handles. This oil brought back the original walnut finish and they look like new after 38 years of use.

This product worked beautifully on my old butcher block countertop. It sunk in quickly, so I applied a second coat. Use your hands -- it's so nourishing for skin, too! I love the fact that now, when liquids spill on my butcher block, they bead up a bit leaving me time to get them up before they stain or cause rings in the surface. A little goes a long way.

I picked this up for my butcher block table top in my kitchen. It was really important to get a product that would be safe for my family and food grade as we would have food prep on it. It works great and is a pretty decent sized bottle for the price. It applied well and wasn't too runny like other brands I have tried.
