Real Super!

I'm using the HF SuperWhip, for working JT65 on 40m and 20m in a condominium, It works fantastic, easy to tune and install, nice looking and fine made.
Had it built and tuned to 10m in about 5 minutes out of the box

I just got this antenna and my first thought is 'I love it'. Easy and intuitive to put together and there are plenty of options to customize the bag. I was able to fit the tripod, extensions, main coil, 2 top antennas, 25' of coax, my ft-817nd, extra battery pack, extra AAs, some tools, the radials, extra mounting bracket, 2 power cables for my radio, roll up keyboard and psk31 modem without a problem. Everything I need for QRP anywhere. I left out the 80m coil and radials as I only have my tech ticket. It setup easy and on my patio, there is no worry about it falling over or being pushed around in a strong Tennessee wind. I have more testing to do with it and I'm excited to take it out on a hike to put it through it's paces. The only concerns I have are with the case itself. Very thin material and I know the zipper won't last a year of normal use as I have it packed full. I plan to get a hiking hydration pack and transfer everything over.
Great customer service

I was looking for a small antenna system for backpacking up a mountain for field day. There are no trees to string wires so this seems to fit the bill for something that would fit in our backpacks for the hike up and be self supporting. The day the package arrived, several items were missing, probably a simple mistake of someone not putting everything in the box. While there is no phone number to reach the folks at Super Antenna, they responded very quickly via email. They apologized for the missing items and immediately shipped them out. They get 5 stars for the great customer service! As for the performance of the antenna, I knew full well before buying the limitations small antennas have. So this field day will be interesting to see how my solar powered radio go-pack will work out.
Exceptionally Good for What it is Intended to Do!

How much you will like this antenna is largely dependent upon exactly how you plan to use it, and whether or not you are willing to spend the money for it.
What It IS
First of all, this is a very well-made, and very portable, temporary antenna system. It is designed for easy transportation and quick deployment--and it does those things rather brilliantly. The flexibility in configuration for setup and use is impressive. There are lots of combinations and mounting options available, so it can be effectively deployed in a number of ways. Once this antenna is set up, it does an exceptionally good job for what it is.
What It Is NOT
It is probably not a permanent antenna for long-term mounting outdoors (but I haven't tried that). It is definitely not a full-sized Yagi on a 200' tower. If you are expecting performance comparable to that, you'll be disappointed. It's a very portable antenna system that packs up small and light, goes together quickly and easily, and works very well for a small and light antenna system. It's surprisingly well made and well thought out. Everything's there that you need, albeit at a minimum.
Do I have any gripes? Not really.
The included mini tripod system will allow the antenna to be set up on the ground under flat and not too windy conditions, but it has some limitations. It wouldn't hold up in a hurricane, for instance. It is what it is. If you need something more sturdy, you can use the included clamping system to secure the antenna to something.
As someone on the Internet has noted, it would have been nice for the manufacturer to have labeled the counterpoise wire sets, and to have included spools for them, but those are small issues.
If you need a well-made, light, compact, extremely versatile, and easily deployed antenna system, this one deserves a long, hard look.

One issue with the telescopic whip antenna. After contacting customer service, within an hour a replacement was on its way. Impressed with the design and attention to detail of the assembly. Look forward to being in the air this weekend.
