I ordered a size recommended for my 15 week old kitten who had a back leg amputated. The cpne.fit his neck perfect how ever the rest of the cone was far too long... he would trip on it and step on it when he tried to walk. Also seemed a bit heavy. Would be better for a larger animal. I do like the softness of the fabric and the style of it. The Velcro closure seemed secure.

I have a 20 lb bichon, if I would have purchased per the measurements I would have needed an xl instead I went with my gut since most wearable for her I get medium. So glad I bought medium! It does flip down very easily. I kept a close watch on her after her surgery so this did work but if you can't be there to monitor go with the plastic e collars

This is the best invention yet! I always feel so guilty when my pet needs to wear an e-collar. They are miserable in them and I am miserable watching them. The Alfie Pet Collar is the best of both worlds. It does what it needs to do while providing comfort to my pet. This should be readily available at all pet medical locations.

Great concept. This would definitely work on a less determined dog. Bought for cavalier king charles with an injured rear paw. Collar fit great, but he was able to bend it after several determined struggles and reach and chew on his paw. Loved the designed and very disappointed it didn't work. Back to the big plastic cone of shame...

Love this e-collar but honesty it depends on your pet. I have a female boxer puppy, 35 lbs and the xl fits perfectly. She hasn't tried to chew it but I know other puppies might. It is flexible, cute and pevents her from reaching her surgery site. Its been 4 days and so far so good!
