I've only used the Insect Buster once but I like the feel of it and how it dispenses my Diatomaceous earth, that's what I bought it for. DE is like flour so it's very light. Squeezed the bulb softly and it came out in a fine cloud. Squeezed it harder and a larger amount of DE came out. It's easy to control. The mouth is wide enough to fill the bulb with no problem. I wish it had instructions though. I'm not sure what the long plastic tubing is for.

The rubber base is very comfortable and the metal parts of the product feel very solid and well built. The entire product feels like it has a lot of quality.
One point that I would like to make is that if you have very large areas to cover, try to get the next size up from this model. I had to refill it more then 4 times, and since I poured it directly from the bag into the product using the funnel that comes with it, it was a hassle. Either put the diatomaceous earth into a smaller container, or get a bigger model if this is a problem for you.
I thank the Dr. Killigan's team for providing a well built product in a sea of cheaper ones.

I do not use pesticides in my garden and have annual aphid infestations and ants that farm them. This product allows me to dust DE with ease. Seems less wasteful than sprinkling by hand or coffee can with holes in the bottom. I have used the duster twice and it is doing a fine job. Product feels solid, not like the cheaper plastic dusters that seem flimsy and ready to break. I think this product should give me many seasons of dusting. Once I got the hang of using it I could easily lightly dust or really cake the DE on.

Works perfect, made of brass, internal cap screw is brass, bulb is nice and thick. Definitely designed to last a long time and it works perfectly. If you intend to make more than one application in your home this is a must for the price. In a pinch you can use a baby's nose bulb syringe for a couple of dollars but if you intend to apply dust more than once or twice this is a must.

I don't know what to say about something like this other than it is a solid product. The rubber bulb is thick, but flexible and the brass nozzle should outlast me. They also included a small plastic funnel and plastic extension hose, both of which I've already put to good use. This is a great package if your in the need to apply insecticidal dust. I used it with DE and haven't had any problems.
