Nice camp axe

Gets the job done as a packable camp axe. Nice leather sheath that can be worn on a wide belt, as well. Will need to be sharpened upon arrival. Great size for a car survival kit and use around the house. Sand the handle and apply a coat of boiled linseed oil (flaxseed oil) for looks and to prevent blisters. Happy chopping!
Did not care for this axe....totally out of balance.

Unable to use it.
With the 19 inch handle, this axe is completely out of balance.
Sent it back for a small, 19 inch Husqvarna Splitting axe.
Let's see if the Husqvarna works a bit better.
Nice USA made Hudson Bay axe for the money

Great for the price. Steel takes a good edge and holds it well. Handle grain was 90 degrees off, but I am confident it will hold up fine. Handle a bit thin for my taste, but I will likely wrap it just above the swell with leather, so may turn out to be a plus.
A lemon in I hope I good product

Out of box, very dull. After investing about an hour and a half with a file and stones put a decent edge it. Took it out to the backyard to see how it cuts on pine. The handle split at the palm swell. Good steel and sheath, bad quality control.
Great tool.

The edge profile needed some work but it's a great axe at a great price. I prettied mine up a bit.
