I ordered a Brown collar for my small Forest ax. Beautifully crafted. Well like Eugene said in one of his videos the brown does get scuffed up if you overcompensate. So 2021 I ordered two collars one for each ax. Received my shipment a couple days ago and received two sheaths instead. The sheath we're beautifully crafted. I called Eugene at review outdoor gear to rectify the issue and decided to keep the sheaths. So he gave me a discount on the collars. Problem solved everybody's happy. Thinking about buying the holster next. These are beautifully crafted leather goods

Excellent! This mask fit my Woodcraft perfectly. It's high quality, real leather; and after a first failed attempt, I realized it's best to lace it up before setting the position. I slightly tightened it down, then rigorously slid it into place, then tightened down some more. I got it so tight on the handle now that I took it backpacking without even tying the ends and it won't move. It looks and feels fantastic on the Woodcraft 24". It's a family owned company and they do great work from what I've seen. Buy it.

I purchased two collar guards, one each for my Gransfors Bruks Wildlife Hatchet and Gransfors Bruks Small Forest Axe. I've been using both tools for years and was getting concerned about the usual sort of wear and tear the handles were getting near the heads.
The collars installed just fine using the supplied leather lacing. They're snug and not slipping. I put a drop of glue on the finishing square knot for extra security.

Ordered this piece about a week ago. To start the box the product came in was simple and easy to access. The craftsman who made the sheath left his business card and informational pamphlet in the box. The quality is world class and definitely and heirloom type item. The stitching was superb and the leather was fantastic. You would think something this simple couldn't be manufactured in such an exceptional way. The Fit of the sleeve was great and the look is second to none. Fine work and I will definitely be a return customer to purchase more in this line made in America. Fine job 5 stars
