There are cheaper mounts out there, but this is the cheapest I'd risk permanently mounting something...only drawback if you use this for a battle rope is you can't do alternating/undulating...each end is too close together/they tangle against each other. But for TRX etc, it works great...
Solid Mount. Deceptive Color Depiction.

Warning; These are a LOT darker than the dove gray that's depicted (at least on most screens: I've viewed it on a 12" iPad Pro, an iPhone 6s+ and a MacBook Air). These are light charcoal. They will stand out like a sore thumb against a white wall, which was my reason for purchasing this particular mount over competitors. Given the fact that's where a lot of these will end up, it's really hard to understand why manufacturers aren't at least trying to blend.
Aside from that, this is a great anchor, rock solid, clear instructions. Anyone planning on mounting one of these needs to BE ABSOLUTELY SURE that they aware drilling in the CENTER of a stud or you're going to find yourself flat on your backside with a hefty chunk of ceiling, not to mention a chunk of metal heavy enough to inflict some serious damage flying around. I used an edge sensing stud finder and still wound up drilling pilot holes through the drywall. The plate is big enough to cover them. I bought them to use with Monkii bars which will definite create rubbing friction if I try to spray paint to match the ceiling. I'll probably try painting just the visible areas and see if that helps.
