Great quality
the basic program is terrible.
Amazon CustomerJanuary 5, 2018
After one month of purchase, the bottom of the picture shows a line, and in Korea, it is not repairable.
Film scans are convenient.
However, the basic program is terrible.
Received a defective machine and remembered why I didn't like Plustek equipment and software.

My scanner inserts a horizontal line across every image (on slides as well as negatives). When the film is turned upside down the line appears in a new location on the image, confirming that the line is being made by the machine and is not an artifact of the slides and negatives. Tech support suggested looking for updated drivers, but the driver load process uninstalls the original software without reloading the updated software. This is the 2nd Plustek scanner I've owned (the other was a brand new 7100 purchased from Amazon 10 years ago) and the software has always been less than high quality (think less Adobe Photoshop and more Microsoft Paint in its simplicity), but at the very least it has been simple enough to get decent images when functioning. Even the help menu to check for driver updates doesn't appear on the software interface until after you run a scan (another software glitch - more nuisance). Sloppy software, patch process and sloppy quality scanner. Unfortunately I'll have to rescan all my images once I get a new machine. Save time and invest in something other than Plustek. They haven't improved much in the past 10 years.

Short learning curve but works well copying all those old slides.
