Buyer beware. This does NOT play all regional discs as advertised or stated. It won't even play a disc in USA or from Redbox. SONY was absolutely no help on the phone. It is basically a paper weight. It specifically says ALL REGION on the box and ALL REGION on the DVD player itself. Stay clear!!!

Absolutely terrible. I used it the first day I got it, the blu-ray played fine once, but when i tried to go to the home screen or do anything else within the players apps, like watch netflix, it froze and shut down and I can't get it back on to get the dvd out. DO NOT BUY. Buy a different player elsewhere. I will be returning mine promptly.

I am over all very happy with this all regions blue ray player. I have cable TV so it was a breeze to set up. It plays very well. Here are the two reasons I did not give it a 5 star rating.
1. Up can NEVER do a systems update to this machine, if you do, it will wipe out that its an All Regions Blue Ray player
2. They do not tell you this at all, I had to find that out by customer fed back and customer reviews. Shame on them for not making sure this is known in BOLD print
