Ordered film a while ago anticipating move to new home too late to return it and already cut it anyway. Could not get this stuff to stick to a window. It would not lie flat enought to "cling" mulitple area raised up and the edges and corners would not cling at all. I have used a similar slightly thinner product before with no problem. I need the privacy so I finally ust taped it to the window. In reading other reviews, I realized that there was no backing on this product. Possible I got a defective or maybe a returned product. At any rate - Not Happy.

The door we use most in our house is all windows and I've been wanting to get something to make it more private for a long time now without compromising the sunshine. I'm so glad I found this window film!! It was super easy to apply. The hardest part for me was measuring and cutting all the little rectangles (unsteady hands) I tried taking good pictures, but they really don't do this enough justice. The sun shines in and makes pretty rainbow colors all over. I even have a little left over in case I ever need to replace a section!

This window film is so pretty. I also have something similar to this on a window I have in my closet, but I put this one on my windows by the front door. The design is beautiful and adds beauty from both the inside and the outside of my house. The application is also very easy...if you make a mistake or get a air bubble, you can simply pull it off and re-apply. I picked this product mainly because it's an effective way to provide privacy without blocking out the natural light from outside.

This is good for a window that you still want to be able to see through but not see clearly. I used it on a side door in the kitchen that opens to the car port. If someone comes to the door I can usually tell who it is but it prevents people from being able to see clearly into the house. This would not be good for a window that needs privacy. It was very easy to install.

Update: I feel like a dummy. The instructions clearly say to remove the backing, but the backing is so clear that I simply assumed this particular version of the product didn't have one. But it does. It's a little tricky to get the corner started, but it's there. Once you remove the backing, this thing sticks to the window perfectly fine. It has not come off yet, at least. I'll be sure to update this review if it does.

When I left this review, though, I got a quick response from the seller, who kindly reminded me to remove the backing. So this whole problem was operator error, but in the process I learned that this seller has excellent customer service.

This product is beautiful, easy to apply (once you remove the backing), and I do recommend it.

Original review: I cannot for the life of me get this thing to stay stuck on the window. I've followed the instructions to a tee, half a dozen times, but every time, a day later, it comes right off. I think that part of the problem is that it arrives rolled up, so that when it is applied to the windows, the edges have a tendency to curl away from the window. This allows a small bit of air to get in at the edges, eventually peeling the entire thing off. I have tried rolling it up in the reverse direction, to counteract the curl it came with, but that has not worked yet either.

If anyone can provide tips to get this thing to stick, I would greatly appreciate it and would happily change my review to reflect the eventual quality of the product. As it currently stands, though, this product is useless and I cannot recommend it.
