This bike seems a little poorly built for the money, cheap plastic rims on tires. I bought it for my 12 year old granddaughter and it fits her well. The steering is a little sensitive and takes some getting used to but she loves it. She has autism and could not figure out a two wheeler. This bike is a great alternative. I was able to assemble myself pretty easily. Straight forward instructions.

I would recommend wearing a helmet with this fun bike, but it's easy to use, hard to break, and fun!

Best way for kids to get their pedal on. Parts can be interchanged somewhat with other Mobo size trikes. Company would be smart to engineer the INTERCHANGEABLE parts feature more to allow for intermediate trike sizes/weights as kids grow. Their small size is good for 2 year olds. Their medium size is good for 5 year olds. That leaves 3 and 4 year olds up a creek.

I bought the red one for my 6 year old as a birthday present. He loves riding it.It is fast, safe, and fun.I am 5'4' and 115 lbs and I fit in it, but we also own the Mobo Triton and that one fits me a lot better.The mobito is too short for someone my height- but I am able to take a ride on it for fun, when my son asks me to.I had a question about the break and wheel adjustment and called the customer service.They picked up the phone timely and I received helpful answers from a very patient, knowledgeable person.The customer service is kind and responsive.Great product, great idea, excellent execution.

Got this for my son as a Christmas present. He's 10 and is shorter than most boys his age, so I figured he would get a couple years' use out of it. He's had trouble balancing on a regular bike, so I thought this would appeal to him and encourage him to go riding. More on that in a minute.

The trike delivered on time, with all parts included, and I assembled it without much trouble. There was one seat bolt that was loose in the box, but aside from that, everything else seemed packaged okay. The Mobito SPORT is the base model of the Mobito series, and in checking out the manufacturer's site (asaproducts.com), doesn't appear to be featured there. When purchased it was priced about $100 less than the non-sport model, so it seemed like a good deal, and overall I think it is.

There are three things I've noticed that the SPORT version is lacking: 1) wire-spoke wheels, 2) adjustable seat back, and 3) no tension springs on the rear wheels. The first two are non-issues in my book ... the 5 spoke polymer wheels look cool and I suspect will be fine for the life of the trike, and the angle on the seat back caused no complaints from my son. The one ... and I mean only ... gripe I have with the trike is with the steering. We found that it doesn't take much for wheels to grab while turning and lock to widest angle, causing the rear to swing wildly and the trike to spin out, sometimes with the outboard wheel coming off the ground. Granted, I haven't seen first-hand how the springs on the standard Mobito respond to this issue, but I imagine they help counteract that spinout. In my mind an out of control turn is not a good thing, and in the interest of safety the manufacturer should have these on all of their models.

That being said, it is built like a tank. The load frame uses welded square steel tubing throughout, and aside from the wheels and a few bits here and there, it's all metal. It's low to the ground, with a low center of gravity, and comes close to how I would have liked the Big Wheel from my childhood to have been built (had I taken shop class back then).

My son loves it, which is a big win. I would recommend it, but caution to have your child watch those turns and wear a helmet. I'll update this post if there's anything else to report.
