Bad points: Have to have book to navigate
Amazon Customer•April 10, 2017
Bad points: Have to have book to navigate. Not good for switching sounds while playing.
Good points: Sound quality is good! Responds well too. No latency issues.

This is a fantastic piece of kit

This is a fantastic piece of kit. Really solidly built.
The range of sounds is enormous. We want to be able to get a reasonable Hammond B3 organ sound from a Yamaha piano. It has 4 variations of this sound so will keep us busy.
Can strongly recommend it.

Overall sounds are good. Great that it has 2 banks to choose from. Like any other module or synth, 80% will likely never be used. But, all in all - a great sound mod. for the price. Well built, well designed. Here's my issue: My NORD C2D has 2 keyboard manuals plus a foot pedal channel. Defaults are; Upper manual = 1, Lower manual = 2, and Foot Pedal = 3. No matter which MIDI channel I set the S-Engine to, both manuals and foot pedals play the S-engine. Seems like the MIDI Channel control does not work properly. Application will not work for me, that way. Back it goes.

Good unit for the price. Sounds decent.
Partially works only - defective.

I have a Yamaha P-255 with midi-in, midi-out, and product doesn't work.Only one sound bank works and the sound bank that works only plays a couple sounds and doesn't mask the underlying piano sound underneath. Either the product doesn't work with all digital pianos or it's defective.
