Too Many Problems with This Phone

Phone had frequent static. Plugged in my old phone and worked fine so I assume it must be the phone. Very cheaply made. Light as a feather. When answering the phone it is easy to pull it off the table. The short cord doesn't help. Also, you cannot read the caller ID. It lies so flat that you must stand directly over the phone to read it. Returned it. Wish I could find a quality corded phone (preferably with an answering machine built in). This isn't it.
