Got the black for daughter who's 5'9" and 135 lb. I ordered an XL and it fits perfectly. She is tall and thin and normally wears a size 6 in ladies pants. Meant to wear under clothes because it has see through vents in the front of shorts. These do the trick for roller skating.

I'm a waist size 42, and I use these (the largest size) when rollerblading in order to protect myself. I'm an absolute beginner at it, and these make me feel protected. I've fallen on them a couple of times and they're really great, I feel absolutely no pain. They fit the tiniest bit tight (because I'm large) but because they're compact enough, I wear them under my baggyish jeans and nobody knows the difference!
