Fantastic product, excellent data speeds, better than described!

I can't say enough good things about this sim card. The services that these international carriers provide put US carriers to shame.
I did follow the instructions and waited to arrive in the UK before activating the card. It seems some reviewers here had success doing so in the US prior to their travels, but I didn't want to chance anything not getting set up correctly. Also when you activate it the 1 month timer starts counting down, so better to wait until you arrive to use it. I popped it in my Verizon iPhone as soon as the plane touched down in the UK (Verizon doesn't lock their iPhones) and it connected to the Three network right away with 4G data.
Here is the best part, I travelled to France, the Netherlands, Germany and I was able to call UK phone numbers AND local phone numbers in the country I was in! For example, when I was in France, I could call any UK phone number AND any French phone number. When in Germany I can call any UK number AND any German number. All included in the minutes provided and it make calling hotels and restaurants super easy. Pro tip: when you leave the UK you have to turn on data roaming in your phone settings so that your data will work outside the UK.
The data allowance is amazing for the price. I checked my balance online (they send you text messages with instructions) and I was surprised to learn I had only used 1GB in the first 10 days of my trip. So I stopped being frugal with my data and enjoyed my phone the way I normally would in the US.
Last but not least, the booklet that comes with the card clearly states that you are NOT allowed to use it as a personal hotspot... Well, I did, and it worked flawlessly. Not sure if they can detect you doing that, but I was on a train from the UK to France and needed internet access, so decided to give it a shot. It worked just fine and I was able to get all my work done. I didn't try doing it again, but I guess if you need to and you're willing to ignore the warning rest assured it will work :-)
Will absolutely be buying this again for future travels. So happy with this product.

A must buy if you are traveling to Europe. You can actually activate the phone in the US before you leave the country. We went to France, Italy, Spain and the UK and the phone worked with no problem.
Worked well in Central Europe, not so much in the US or Turkey

I purchased this in the US for use while traveling around Central and Eastern Europe. For the most part it was non-functional in the United States and in Turkey. Worked fine in Germany, France, Czechia, Austria & Hungary for making local calls while in those countries and for 3G/4G internet. I could never get a text to send work outside of the country I was in, but that could simply be user error, although I tried many different things to get it to work.
Overall, this card worked well throughout Central Europe & as long as I had data other apps, I was able to bypass the phone and SMS issues.

Works great from day one though only 3G in Switzerland and France (4G in UK). Tethering works

Activated the SIM card while in the US before my trip. Worked seamlessly throughout my two-week trip in Europe. Speed was 4G in the UK but only 3G in Switzerland and France. Used the data for Google map and WhatsApp with no issues - only used about 5GB of data after two weeks (2 users total, 1 on tethering through either WiFi or Bluetooth). Considering the cost, I still think this is a great SIM card despite the reduced speed. Coverage was very good during my entire trip, so I will recommend this SIM card for casual users.

Fantastic! Three has great roaming plans and data/signal internationally so I installed & activated the sim 2 days before my trip to the UK and was able to have seamless communication with friends and family before boarding my plane and after getting off in Edinburgh. I travelled throughout the UK, US, and Ireland and data was great throughout. Messaging non UK numbers will only work if you have topped up and have funds available
