This fits our giant grill perfectly. It is definitely water proof, which is great. The velcro straps on the sides prevent the wind from ripping it off. My only complaint is that the sun has already started to bleach the color out of it. It's turning a rusty brown, instead of remaining black. Not a big deal, but not pretty.

I don't review products very often but typically its because something exceeded my expectations or completely disappointed me, in this cast, its the latter. The fabric is similar to the grocery bags everyone is going to instead of plastic but I thought, huh, maybe its water proof and all the ad said it was but only this much later, not more than a month or so at the most, the binding wrapped around the seams is literally disintegrating. I can run my fingers down the seams and the seam binding is flaking off in my hand. Don't know if it is actually waterproof since we haven't had any rain since we put it on but clearly, it is not all that sun proof. I'd return it but might be past my 90 day period but seriously, if that, not by much. Very poor quality, disappointing. UPDATE: As soon as I posted this 1 star review and comment, I was contacted by the supplier who graciously requested the opportunity to provide me with an "improved" version of the item I had ordered. They did not require me to send back the original product and the replacement came within a week or so. It appears very similar to the original product so I don't know if it will survive summer heat any better than the first purchase but I was very impressed with their responsive, prompt customer service.

Excellent product. Had purchased a name brand cover from a "big box" store @ $59.95. Fortunately for me, cover was too small and I refused to size up an additional 6 inches for $69.95 so I returned for regund... I went to Amazon and ordered this product which arrived quickly, fit perfectly, appears of comparable heavy duty material and all at less than ONE THIRD the big box price! Definitely a 2ðŸ‘ðŸ‘on this purchase value!

**Update 9/12/17**. I was contacted by the seller and compensated for the grill cover. They also sent a new one that seems like it could be a little sturdier than the last one. I will re-review once it has had more time out in the elements.

*original review* I bought this cover two months ago, and it is already completely faded to grey on top. Also, whatever they used to sew the seams had disintegrated to dust. I don't see this cover lasting out the rest of the year, much less into next summer. The cover that i bought at Lowes hardware lasted for years. I thought i was saving a couple of dollars, but it was totally not worth it. Would NOT buy this again!

**Update Homitt sent me a brand new gill cover. We will see how long this one holds up. I've changed my review to 4 stars just because of the awesome customer service.

I really want to make this a 1 star review but it fit my BBQ grill so everything wasn't a lie.

Pros: It fit my grill.

Cons: - Not waterproof. It has rained coupled times since I got my cover, and the water went all the way through and got in the temperature gauge on my grill, and left watermarks all over my grill.
- Not UV resistant. My grill sees maybe 6 hours a sun a day and it is completely sun rotted after 1.5 months of exposure. The seams are falling apart, like turning to dust falling apart. The color has also completely changed, see the attached picture. I am going to need to find a new grill cover before winter comes.

I would not waste your time with this grill cover. I was hoping that I would get a grill cover like the majority of review, so maybe mine was a one off. Its not worth the risk. Spend your money elsewhere.
