I like the case ok
Bobby Lane•September 27, 2017
I like the case ok. It's not the greatest since sliced bread but it's a good case for the money. I did a build with one using donor parts. They weren't outdated parts just not new. There was a problem or two. The PSU mounting area. I mounted a Corsair RMX850. It mounts but it's to long and will not let you mount an exhaust fan there. Speaking of this exhaust fan/PSU area. The whole thing is just kind of weird. The PSU and this particular fan mount are covered up with a removable cover and I'm really thinking at this point , well that's kind of stupid to make mounts for a fan then cover it up. Oh well, I couldn't find anywhere that listed the size limits of the power supply so unless you try it you will not know. A deal came up with the flimsiness of the tray locks in the front drive bays. I really don't know if the fit was a mobile SSD and HDD tray or the case racks. Regardless, the locks were crappy. Also having to nurse one of the push n lock receptacles on the top cover. It's a monster though, I used that big ass Noctua NH-D15 fan cooler. It's not pretty but it does keep it cool. I thought the wiring to the front panel was a little bit cheesy and not to sure about it's durability when you do a lot of tinkering with it. Everything fit up pretty decent it's an ok case.
DOESN'T USE STANDOFFS
Dustin Coy•September 24, 2017
Was a pain to figure out how to piece the computer together. Couldnt figure out that it used washers and screws. Im used to standoffs. Other than my building difficulties, this is a beautiful case that is highly functional.
Not immediately compatible with H100v2
Amazon Customer•September 23, 2017
I purchased this case with the intention of mounting an H100v2 CPU cooling system. Unfortunately only 4 of the necessary 6 holes lined up, so I had to drill 2 more holes. Other than that, no issues so far.
A Great Case!
Michael L•September 20, 2017
A great case! This is my 2nd Gaming PC build and this case made it easy with good cable routing options and plenty of space. And it's built like, well, a Panzer tank. Lol! But BE WARNED: at the time I purchased this case Amazon had the size specs completely wrong. The case is significantly larger than the measurements shown on Amazon. As a result, I was barely able to fit in the space I had allocated for it. But that is not an issue with the case itself, just the Amazon listing - but be aware of it - size specs are actually: 10.5" W x 24.1" H x 22" D. I highly recommend it especially if you want plenty of space to work with. I used an ASUS Crosshair VI Hero MB with an AMD Ryzen 5 1600x CPU, ASUS ROG Strix OC 8GB graphics card, 2 DVD drives, and 1 SDD internal drive and 1 old Western Digital HDD. Fit it all with plenty of room to spare and the spaciousness allows great airflow for cooling throughout the case.
This is an awesome case. Both side panels are easily removable
Mick M•August 17, 2017
This is an awesome case. Both side panels are easily removable, and there are many mount points for hard drives and fans, and it can handle most any mo-bo you might want to put into it. I am extremely pleased with this case. If I have any criticism at all, it's that the forward part of the top panel (which is removable) is plastic rather than the wire mesh like the other portion. In my application, I had to mount the water-cooler fan under this cover, and because the fan is only a few mm's from it, I removed it so there would be air-flow. Ideally, it would be nice if this plastic cover were the same mesh as the rest of the top cover. Overall, an incredibly flexible and useful case. I will certainly consider this case for my next build.
