When I recieved my flippers, I noticed that they weren't sharp. I called up the company ( Cave Tools) and left a message. The owner called me back within two hours and apoligized. We talked for a few minutes and Mike said he would send out a new flipper. A few days later, I recieved a new set of flippers and they were very, very sharp. Thanks Mike, great job. Oh and by the way, I love my flippers. They work great.
Construction and materials seem to be of good quality, delivery was swift, but not what I was looking for.

The hooks on these things are HUGE (2.25" wide x 1" deep, rod tapers from 1/4" to 1/32" at point), neither one would serve any practical use in cooking situations that require a delicate touch or least invasive handling. I guess if you don't mind leaving bullet sized holes in your food, you could find a use for them. But they not what I needed, nor what I was really looking for. Worse yet they are unreturnable for some reason.
I guess I will have to gift them to some neanderthal, cave tools indeed.

These pigtail flippers are great! They do exactly what you want them to do. They flip BIG steaks with ease. They are functional, fun, and make grilling much easier. Use them on roasts, chops, whatever you want to throw on the grill. These Food Flippers are the better mousetrap! Just wish I had bought them sooner.

The price and speed delivery Prime was excellent. Design, construction, and use in handling is excellent. 1 big downgrade - neither 1 of the 2 had a sharp point of which is critical for tough and flip. I had to hand filed both of them to achieve a fine tapered point and then block sanded each to a silky smooth finish.
