My boys and I have not had and ice cream cone in eight years! I used the recipe that came with the unit, replaced the flour with King Arthur's measure for measure and"¦ PERFECTION!!! They don't cook perfectly even as some have stated. I can live with that. With just under 1/4 cup of batter for each cone (or bowl) I was able to get 7 cones with my first recipe. I will say rolling those cones will burn your fingers, but it was still kind of fun for this gal whose first job back in 1988 was TCBY! Bringing back the memories.

I really like using this cone maker. I followed the recipe given and directions and felt really comfortable using this. I did have a few trial cones where I didn't add enough batter it didn't remove it early enough so it was a bit dark but once I got the hang of it, I really liked it!
