I have short hair, but long enough to get a good curl. I threw my curling iron away years ago, too hot and damaging to hair. Without some curl my hair looks flat and frumpy, I'm 75 but still like to look nice. I wash my hair and let air dry, use a very little Got2B pomade and run thru hair. Slightly dampen hair and roll up curlers. I think women with longer hair might find it hard to remove but mine come right out easyily. The curl lasts almost all week. You don't have to leave them in very long, just until damp hair is dry. Love these little things.
