Just used this tuner for the first time and was very pleased with it. I used the same $40 guitar tuner for nearly 10 years and loved it, so I wasn't expecting that much from an $8 tuner but it does exactly what its suppose to do. Its small so you can keep it clamped on and it still be out the way but easily flips up when you need it. The screen turns from orange to green when you get the string in tune. You have the option to cycle from 430hz up to 460hz and has the option for tuning guitars, violins/violas, bass, and pretty much any other string instrument. Overall very pleased with an $8 investment, and it even came with a battery.

Small, fast and accurate. However, the clamp could be little stronger, and it barely fits on a typical guitar headstock. Still, I like that it is very compact. Just keep in mind that anything thicker than a guitar headstock might be too big for this unit.

This thing is awesome for the price...or even 10 bucks more! It picks up any string instrument very well from a pretty good range too. It's very compact...easy to use and looks awesome...mine has an orange display, while the picture shows a green one...this doesn't matter to me...but there is that. It clips on the head of your guitar and is very sturdy. i will buy another one for sure.
