This is a great trash can and will be good to move throughout childhood, but doesn't do a whole lot about odor. It leaves my daughters room smelling like her poopy diapers even with scented trash bags. After the initial bag liner ran out, I just use the dollar roll of bags from Walmart.

I really did my research when looking for the right diaper pail. I picked this one because it had the best reviews for concealing smell and you don't have to use their brand of trash liners if you don't want to. We've had this for 8 months and it's been great! We decided that the trash liners that go with this one are better because they're so convenient and easy to use. I'd say that this diaper pail is the best value for your money
