Most of the low star reviews are from people that have very evidently never used high carbon steel blades. This metal is easy to sharpen and holds an edge but you have to keep it oiled or it will rust. I like to use mineral oil. That being said, I thought that mora was all hype until I finally got one. This is a lot of knife for the price and you will not be disappointed. Even the sheath is molded well. I will be buying more of them and would recommend it to anyone.
Excellent

Good quality, basic all around camping knife. Clean, sharpen and oiled to maintain
There is no better knife for the sensible man - buy 3.

The media could not be loaded. Dude, this knife - Made in Sweden. Legit. Sharp Sharp Sharp. Price? Are you serious. Handle. Quality. The is one of those knives that shouldn't exist but it does. I have 3. I have gifted several. It's a serious no brainer.
Also, if you don't think you will need a fixed blade knife then think again. Sure, unless you're that dude in the Walmart you want EDC it, but when I was in Mexico I 'discretely' rolled everywhere this attached to my bag. Can't bring your firearms, but no one wants to miss with a guy with his knife in .5 sec access. This quick access by the way is the reason you want to buy a fixed blade. The sheath on this thing is bullet proof too. it hooks on anything and will stay put while you draw the blade.
While air BNB'ing I of course have this in my kit. as per usual, their knives are dull in the kitchen. Boom, 511 to the rescue.
hope my experience and observations help you here. Cheers.

This is my third or fourth one and they work great. Used as my back up knife on deer and elk hunts and has quickly become a favorite. Great grip and s hold a edge, keep one in every pack I have.
Almost as good as the Mora Companion

These are awesome knives in their own right, as all Mora knives are. Well made, sharp as hell right out of the box, and really versatile. That said, the lower price of less than $10 when this is being written translates into some quality differences when compared with the Mora Companion, which is $12-$20, depending on the build you choose. The Craftline Basic is a bit shorter overall, both in the blade as well as in the handle. The grip has a bit "cheaper" feel to it than that of the Companion, but that doesn't make it bad. I do like the front and rear quillons to help keep your hand safe, and the rear bolster has a nice solid feel to it. The sheath is also better than the one that comes with the Companion, as it features a way to further secure the knife using a length of paracord as a sort of "flap" over the butt of the handle. Not really necessary, as these plastic sheathes work surprisingly well on their own, but nice to have. All in all, a decent knife. Not a replacement for the Companion, especially for bushcraft, but it will do the trick for basic needs. I bought a bunch to give as presents.
