Must follow directions of spraying water mixed with a detergent to stick. I used a little windex, just poured out most of the solution, then filled the windex bottle with water to add to the remaining solution. I cleaned my windows first, measured and cut each window pane, removed the back stick film carefully. I then sprayed one pane at a time and adjusted to fit. Since my door was wooden, I had paper towel handy to wipe off excess. I used an old credit card to then work out bubbles and excess water. I think if I had to do it again, I would have used liquid dish washing soap only because it's less harsh on my wood with the excess water runoff. I've attached a couple of pics. Gave us the privacy we wanted for our front door and absolutely looks professional! Highly recommend, wish we would have done this sooner, we bought our home 4 years ago. The pics were taken in the morning light. In the afternoon, they actually create a small prism glow on our side wall, very pretty. I can still see outside in the front if I need to through some of the bigger flowers but you have to look just right. Keeps the dogs from barking at every car passing by too.

I bought this mainly for a door from our kitchen to the garage that has a huge window. I do not like looking into our garage from in the house, especially from our kitchen. I bought the 23 inch width for $6-7 more than the 17 inch width because the window is about 22 inches wide and I didn't want to mess with a seam. I love how it blocks the garage mess and it blends so your eye isn't just drawn to the window. When the garage lights are on, you can see rainbow colors in the sheet itself but not on any other surfaces, but it looks very pretty. I would consider it very private but you can still see shapes that are close to it. It's very difficult to see in, even when you're right up next to it. Everything is distorted. So. Don't moon people directly up against the window and you should be fine.

Since I had extra, I put it on the rectangular window above our front door, in hopes that it would throw rainbows with the direct morning sun it gets. And it does! The kids love it. I have a window above our backyard door that I'm going to apply it to as well for evening rainbows! I won't have much left over after that so I'm confused reading reviews from people talking about all the extra they had. The windows I covered are not that big unless the windows and showers they're covering are tiny!

The style (floral) isn't really my thing so I'm not sure how long I'll keep it up, but I do highly recommend it!

Used this in the bathroom that has a window right near the toilet. I needed something else there because I was tired of the kids always closing the curtains.
The product is pretty thick. Reminds me of the thin stuff they use as a carpet runner in a hallway. It was not hard to work with at all.
Suggestions:
Have all your tools within reach because if you have to let it go and step away, to grab say... the squeegee, mine tried to slide down and peel off.
I had trouble getting the bottom edge to stick to the window. I tried everything to get it to, but it just won't. Its not bad, only I notice it so that's good.
The finished product looks amazing. I left the top of the window clear so the sky & trees are still visible. I used an idea from another reviewer here to cut out the flower tops for the transition.
The kids went outside to see if they could see me and we're thrilled! They had no idea where I was until I peeked my head over the top of the window film. They are believers now that no one can see them taking a leak during the day. Night of course will be a different story if you turn on the light. BUT That's what curtains & blinds are for.
Love this product! When we replace our sidelight next to the front door, I'll be using the rest!

This product is NOT good, it re-rolls during application and does not stick even when heat is applied. We were looking forward to putting it up, it was so pretty but we were so disappointed. Not worth the money

bad, doesn't stay more than a day
